#StopChildLabor

Before we start our new session, I have no idea that it will be a very interesting and fruitful session, because I learned new things about child labor.Child labor refers to the employment of children in any work that deprives children of their childhood, interferes with their ability to attend regular school, and that is mentally, physically, socially or morally dangerous and harmful it is illegal and an inhuman activity.

We did an activity, this activity is one of the ways that we can express our strong disapproval in child labor. We made a cinquain, a five line stanza that consist our message.I felt sad and pity for those children that is working just to feed themselves and to help their family in order to live. The happy life of being a child that is playing and enjoying is replaced by the difficulties and  hard works. We must do something to stop child labor.

While we are doing that activity i notice that I am very lucky, even though we're not rich, because I am not suffering child labor. I am very thankful and I will do my best to help to abolish Child Labor in any part of the world, because I believe that everyone deserve a happy and good life.

More Hard Work, More Success

"Coach Mike, do I really have to swim this? It's too long and I don't want to do three laps of backstroke. That's very hard, the last time when I did backstroke, I chocked on the water and I thought that's my last breath!" I complained. But while I am complaining, Coach Mike burst out laughing because of what I said to him. Today is our last training for the competition that will be held tomorrow. I am their representative so that I must do my best for that competition.
The competition day came,I was standing next to my coach. I remember when I lose my first competition, so in this one, my goal is to become a placer. But I felt edgy and nervous when I saw the swimming pool it was long and we must finish three laps of three different strokes.I want to back out.
"Too late for that,” I opined as the announcer stated that the player must in their own shoes at the count of ten. “Yeah! You can do that Joy, be confident"Couch said as I ran over to get ready. "Swimmers step up, go to your diving blocks" announcer said. I looked at the contestants and they looked so ready and professional. The swimmers bent down, I am ready, but inside my stomach was on the world's biggest roller coaster and my heart was the one who wanted to jump out into the pool.
Wuuuuuut! The buzzer went off, we jump in the water, it was peaceful but I remember that I must finish the three laps of three different strokes, so I kicked my feet hardly. I finished the butterfly and breaststroke laps. When I pushed off the wall for the backstroke laps, my legs become tired and heavy like stones wanting to sink lower and lower. I needed air, but I can't stop, "Keep going!" someone urged. When I approached the wall for the last lap, I felt someone coming up behind me, but I wanted to get there first. Kick, stroke, breathe, kick, stroke, breathe, all swimmers were like sharks. I touched the wall and catching my breath.People cheered, I never thought that I'd got the first place. Now I felt strong and confident. Thank you Lord,Couch Mike and to my family who are always there for me.

My Precious Chance

The English Access Microscholarship Program is one of the most valuable blessings that God gave to me. Every activity helps me to be a responsible and a great individual. That's why I am very grateful to have this kind of experience.
This scholarship will help us to learn more things for two years only, but I can treasure all the things I learned and all memorable experience for my whole life. The first day of training is very interesting and enjoyable, we played Ice Breaker and because of that I knew now what the characteristic of my classmates are. We also learned how teamwork can affect many things in our lives and what its importance. Now blogging is our lesson, our teacher taught us how to express your feelings by means of writing and how to be a good writer.
Nowadays I feel very lucky because of this opportunity and I will do my best to accomplish all the tasks that will give to me. Thank you also to our teachers that guide us in every moment of our training.
